Hello,
I’m seeking to reach Autumn Preble, whom I last knew to be living in Langly on Whidby Island in Washington state. I’m learning from your website that as of this time last year she was at BeadforLife in Kampala and awaiting moving to a Peace Corps project in Uganda. If you have an email address for Autumn would you send it to me? I’d like to say hello. I was one of her roomates in a group household in Honolulu back in the 1970s.My email address is diana@ic.org. I’m going to be in the Seattle area for about two weeks soon, and had hoped to visit Autumn if she was available. But now I think she still may be in Uganda. I’m sure Autumn is doing really good work there, as she has, I believe, everywhere she’s lived.

Greetings Peace Corps volunteers in Uganda, past, present, future,
I am awaiting my placement for Peace Corps, but meanwhile I am living in Kampala working with another NGO, BeadforLife (www.beadforlife.com). I would love to visit some sites where Peace Corps volunteers are working and see what things are like “on the ground.” Could someone send me the email address of the in-country director, and where his/her office is located? Hello,
I am currently in the process of applying to the Peace Corps. I am very excited about the possibility of serving, however, have some safety concerns. If you have the time, I would greatly appreciate any insights you provide into the issue. Do you feel safe where you serve? Do you have a support network from the program, local community members and/or other volunteers in the area? Again, any advice or concerns shared would be greatly appreciated. Oli otya! Hey guys! I served in the Peace Corps in Uganda from 2002-2004. I’ve met a few people who are leaving with your guys in March. I’m so excited for you… Uganda is phenomenal. You totally lucked out with assingments! If you’d like to email me with questions you might have, feel free. Otherwise a whole bunch of us will be at your staging/45th Anniversary celebration here in Boston.

Hello cc Madddox and Chris,
Great to hear that other folks are going to Uganda with the PC in March 06. My husband, Brendon and I were nominated in June 05 for Health in March 06 and were cleared for medical and dental on Friday so we are thrilled to finally be setting out. We live in Palos Verdes (neighbors to Pepperdine) in So. Calif. and have worked in health so anticipate health assignments in the “Pearl of Africa” or Smashed Pearl that needs to be restored. We are now awaiting our invite and are beginning to make preparations. Have you heard where staging will be located? I believe this will be a great opportunity to “Do some good and have some fun”. Look forward to meeting you and working with you
