Leaving in March!
September 1st, 2006 by easterneurope.I talked to my placement officer yesterday and I am being sent an invitation for a placement in eastern europe leaving on March 22!! I am really excited and if anyone else has this departure date for somewhere in Eastern Europe, I would love to chat. Hopefully I will receive my invite soon so I will be able to post where I am going to!

Hi there! I’m applying to the Peace Corps for the second time as I decided on grad school last time. I’m really really interested in going to Eastern Europe and was just wondering what job area you were going to be working in? I know I’ll only qualify for business development so was curious as to what you were doing!

I’m going to be doing a health extension program. I’m not sure of the details yet because I haven’t gotten my invite yet (should be here on tuesday). I’ll let you know as soon as i find out!

Hey! Iwill be finished with up my med. screening this week, but have been nominated for programs in E. Europe as well. Just curious, where have you been placed and what are they telling you to bring or how to prepare for your departure? I’d also like to know what foreign language you have. How are you starting to prepare for that? Thanks and congratulations!

Hey! I was also nominated for Eastern Europe leaving in March. They mailed my invitation yesterday. I will be entering the business advising program.
