Hi Heather. I am also going to Zambia in January - I’m working on the Community Action Health Program, though. But I am guessing we’ll probably be in the same training class (staging around the 26th??). I am just trying to make good use of my last couple months stateside and enjoy things here while at the same time getting everything sorted out to leave. I am sure you’re doing the same. Anyway, feel free to e-mail me or post if you’d like to keep in touch! - Kristin

    Hi there,
I am currently in the process of applying to the Peace Corps. I am very excited about the possibility of serving, however, have some safety concerns. If you have the time, I would greatly appreciate any insights you provide into the issue. Do you feel safe where you serve? Do you have a support network from the program, local community members and/or other volunteers in the area? Again, any advice or concerns shared would be greatly appreciated. Please take care and I hope to hear from you.

    Sincerely,
    Robyn

I have been told by my recruiter that I will be working with the Learning at Tango Market program leaving Jan 07. I would appreciate any information from RPCV, PCV currently serving, and those who will be headed to Zambia. What is it like? What do you wish you had known then that you know now? How did or are you preparing for departure?

Are there any current groups set up? I am very excited!
