Are you part of the Peace Corps 2 Yahoo group? There are a few people going to Namibia in November in the group.

I’m off to the Philippines in March - ICT Resource Teacher.
Looking forward to it already (its getting cold here!).
We should start an IT related PCV forum somewhere.

jason i think you took my job, don’t worry i’m joking, i’m also heading to namibia in november to teach math, i got my invitation packet today but its never to early to start a contact network.

Hey Jason,
I will be teaching Math in Southern Namibia, Leaving in November. Haven’t got my staging packet yet, but I’m sure we will meet up in DC, Phillie before we head over.

Hey there! I’m leaving for Namibia in November as well. I’ll be teaching Computer Science to High school age kids…somewhere.

Hi there,
I am currently in the process of applying to the Peace Corps. I am very excited about the possibility of serving, however, have some safety concerns. If you have the time, I would greatly appreciate any insights you provide into the issue. Do you feel safe where you serve? Do you have a support network from the program, local community members and/or other volunteers in the area? Again, any advice or concerns shared would be greatly appreciated. Hello,
I received my invitation about a week ago and will be going to Namibia in November to teach science. Emotions have been running high but I’m settling into the idea and getting progressively more excited about the prospect.

I just got an invitation for africa in november and am going through the medical clearance process. I wonder if it’s namibia for me too!
