Ecuador Phone Card
January 15th, 2007 by Lmfrymark.Hey, I’m going down to Ecuador on Feb 5th as a Habitat Conservation volunteer. Does anyone have any tips on how to find a decent phone card for calling home to the States? Any advice/info is welcome!

Don’t worry about buying a phone card because in Ecuador there are many telephone booths where you can call home. And PC will give you a cell phone to use within the country but you can’t call home with them. You can also buy a cell phone when you get there.

I am going to Ecuador on Feb 5th to do Habitat Conservation as well. We may be in the same training class. Anyway, just wanted to share.

I also accepted an invitation to go to ecuador feb 5th. I am going for animal husbandry. maybe we will all be in the same training class!
