What does the medical evaluation entail? what type of tests are done?

You need to have a physical, basically. Any medical issues you’ve had will need to be documented. It’s a huge pain in the butt, mostly because your doctor(s) is(are) supposed to fill it out, but chances are they’ll pass it off to nurses, who’ll leave something important out.
I just got cleared, but had to go to each the doctor and eye doctor twice for paperwork. The PC nurse I spoke to said she would like all the recruiting officers to tell applicants they’ll have to go back at least once.
