ahhhhhhhhhhh namibia
July 11th, 2006 by PapaPlus.i will try to be brief. namibia ,wow, i mean the place is always on my mind. i was in the first group of volunteers stationed there. there was no peace corps namibia office, we had a week training in botswana. namibia had been free exactly 5 months prior to our arrival. i meet my future wife in namibia 6 months after i got there. my first two children where born there, my oldest daughter ayanda was born at my site, in the clinic next to the school. and my second daughter, nyamekye was born in windhoek while i was working for usaid. i spent almost eight years in namibia, three with the peace corps and 3 with usaid, the last year and a half was a struggle. more on that later
