I just got my invitation to Kyrgyz Rep for Juy as a Health promotion specialist. Im not really sure what to make of the country, but I am excited nonetheless. I am also looking to talk to some volunteers with insight into what to expect ETC.

My husband and I are also going to Kyrgyz Republic leaving July. We are getting very nervous thinking of all the things we will be encountering and things that we need to prepare for. I will be a health promotion specialist as well and He will be Community Buisness development. If you want to contact us we would be glad to talk through the next months. I’m sure we are all having many emotions associated with these big changes it is good to know we aren’t alone. My email is tracyruth11@yahoo.com

Hello! I just returned in November 06 after serving two years in Kyrgyzstan. I worked in community development, but lived and worked closely with two TEFL volunteers. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions, concerns, etc about anything. My email is jmlawr00@smumn.edu. Peace!

Hi! My name is Jen and I am also in K-15. I get more and more nervous and excited with every passing day. I will be a health promotion specialist as well. I am having packing troubles…knowing what to bring without bringing too much. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Hey everyone! I’m a currently serving PCV (TEFL sector) in Kyrgyzstan. I’m having a pretty great (albeit weird) time in country. If you have any questions about anything, feel free to get in touch with me. My blog has some suggestions for packing as well (I remember freaking out about what to pack last year — haha). My email is taylor.terri@gmail.com. Enjoy your last month in America and good luck getting ready!

Hello everyone, I’m one of the few University tefl volunteers and if you know or have contacted any k-15 U. tefls then please have them write me at bogatir@gmail.com if they have any questions. U. Tefl is very different from regular tefl and I believe that PC doesn’t do enough to train U. tefls.
